What is a good salary to aim for?

I am a recent law graduate from one of the top law schools in the world. I hated studying law and am no longer pursuing it as career. Needless to say, I graduated with a mere 2.2 (57%). I also have completed a business management course in Tokyo which I got 88% on. I have some experience in marketing, retail and law. Now I have been pursuing a career somewhat related to quantity surveying/cost estimating as that is what I find interesting. Realistically, what do you think is a good salary to aim for? I live in London by the way and would be working there too.

My only question is what's wrong with you ...
If I got into world class school of business or Law or any other field I would end up acing it.
And no matter how much I hate it..
I would work for money!..

It is easier said than done. Law is one of the hardest subjects to score a first in. And I mean maybe I should’ve worked harder but I don’t think a high 2.2 will impact my career so much considering that I’m not interested in pursuing law anymore. I don’t want to spend my life doing something I hate. In fact I don’t think I could, because I would probably be really bad at it. There is surely more to life than being a slave to your own pay check, don’t you think?
