I’ve been known to speak a combination of German and English (Germlish?). When my grandpa was dying he lost his English and reverted to German which was his only language 0-5. I spoke a lot of “Germlish” when I was in Germany and Austria too. I understand more German than I speak so I respond with a combo.

The reason is i was born and raised here and tbh just never had a reason to need to.
Pidgin language kinda means you speak a mixture of 2 languages because the main language isn't your native language correct?

  Kinda yeah. It’s usually a hodge podge simplification for people who don’t share a common tongue. Like I used a runglish pidgin to speak with my best friend for like 2 years lol his English was horrible back then.

I speak a smattering of Spanglish. I have known a lot of Spanish speakers and a significant part of my crew speaks little English. In fact I have an entire shift where only the lead speaks English.

A very limited amount of Texican. Not even spanglish cause Texans just have our own way of speaking.

  Like Spanglish? Lol i don't but my mom and grandmother always did. It's because they grew up and used Spanish more but if they are speaking in English and they don't translate their ideas which are usually in Spanish in their minds then they start speaking Spanglish. Lol especially if they are pissed. You can always tell when you are in trouble when they move to Spanish and speak very fast. Lol
