Does anyone else miss high school?

Not at all. Summer's off were nice and the schedule of 8-3 was pretty awesome compared to what my work schedule is now but other than that I didn't care much for it. I was smart in school and that part wasn't bad but I was always so shy and self conscious. I never had many friends. I spent a lot of lunches just sitting by myself while everyone else had people to sit with. I watched everyone else getting asked out on dates or getting flirted with and I never had that. I was always a little jealous that I was always left out.
I sound so whiny right now but high school just tanked my self esteem completely. I don't miss that.
I miss being a teenager & naive& having no responsibilities! But I’m still young haha so I don’t miss it too much! I had fun in high school but I’m glad I got to move on to college and am now in a career I enjoy! I look forward to the future because no point looking back. As much as you may miss it, you can’t relive it. Ur only 19 so enjoy! U have so many things you can do. You can go to college, travel the world, start a career, meet ur dream partner. So much is yet to be done so don’t dwell too much on the past.
Not high school so much but being a teenager, yes. Those were the best years of my life. No real responsibilities, just living to have a good time. I miss midnight pond swimming, pasture parties, ridiculous shenanigans, water skiing at the lake, tubing down the river, etc. Now, at 40, my union is going on strike in a few days because of 84 hour work weeks for the last year and a half. Oh to be young and dumb again.
I do, I wish I could go back and beat the hell out of some of the bullies that we had in my class and in the underclass. That said, hopefully some of the thugs were paid back early on. Other than that, I wish I had applied myself more to learning than I did and wish I could return for that

I went to one of the best schools in the country, and it was intense. Everyday we had minimum 4-5 hours of homework. There were no sports, you could not miss a day or you'd be behind 2 weeks, it was 2-4 tests a day, at least one paper due every other day. It was relentless. Grades and doing well academically were everything, all day everyday, so there wasn't a lot of fun to be had. I remember crying at graduation, not because I was sad it was ending, but because I was so relieved to not have to endure the endless mental Olympics everyday anymore.
I don't miss high school but I do miss my high school friends. My high school friends moved out of state, got married, has kids, and living their best life which I am happy for them! My high school was boring and nothing exciting. I was only involved in dancing at my school but quit at the end of my junior year so I can focus on my senior year with my friends.
I miss being teachers pet, office assistant, the good girl the boys in the fieldhouse wanted to “score”, and the overachiever that other students looked up too. So ig i miss the status and attention? But i def dont miss the school itself nor the classwork nor the teachers nor the classmates nor the hatin ass female bullies
I went to a Bronx High School how the hell you think I did after I had a nuclear meltdown they send me to a nice High School in the next Borough had a great time graduated come quick
In ways, yes. But on the overall, I don't miss it. Some of my worst memories are from high school.
It's funny You should Ask this Question. My sister and I were Talking about School Yesterday and She doesn't Miss it. I told Her I did Well and did Lots in School and Also Well but I never Said----I Missed it. lol!!! xx
I miss my freshman year because I miss the album that I listened to all the time that year.
Cold's "Year of the spider"
"The day Seattle Died" was about layne Stayley (Alice in chain's singer's) death, back in 2002, even though the album was released in 2003
Anyone who misses high school wasn't paying attention.
Yep. 40 years ago this past week I graduated high school. I had such a good time then - and Reagan didn't fuck everything up yet. Republicans were still rational human beings then.
Yes, because I graduated in 2020 which means, no graduation, no prom, nothing. COVID took it all away :) and also cause first year in Uni so high school is very much fresh.
I was rarely there, had high grades and graduated two years early so I didn’t form many bonds to miss. I only miss being young enough to sample the unbelievably horny hs girls.
Not as such, I had some fun, but developed more as a person once I left school.
I do still keep in touch with school mates and since moved back to Northumberland have met up with them.
High school is overrated. You can't do anything productive, you can't help anyone, you can only procrastinate or chase girls/boys who are probably not worth it due to their infantility.
I mean who don't? Apart from people still there lol.
It's a great slacker's club that i wished last forever not really having to do anything.
Nope, never, it is so much more fulfilling, to actually do something meaningful in the world and not solve stupid exercises, that dont do shit, just to please a teacher.
I’m in high school technically but have never been yet cause of the pandemic. So yeah, I guess I miss it slightly
There are a lot of things I wish I had done different. I sometimes wish I could go back in time just for a day to relive it and see how the reality compares with my memories. But miss it? Firm no. I was quite happy to get out of there.
I'm a janitor in an all girls school. I will miss watching the girls showering and changing for P. E through the peephole I made.
Porky’s! Funny movie!

We don't have high school as such in England, however I don't miss secondary school. Worst years.
I miss western high schools that I have never ben to lol. Watching them through movies, they seem perfect with all those parties and different clubs. Schools in my country suck, even genders are separated.
