1) Before you get old , pay off debt , own your home , you can reverse mortgage it if you must. 2) Have Gold and Silver to insure investments 3) Don't give Power of Attorney to someone that can't be trusted. 4) At right age , sell home and rent small apartment or share home with another Senior.

Your research, if any, regarding earnings and collecting Social Security, is lacking. If you have reached full retirement age you can earn as much as you wish without it affecting your Social Security benefits. If you have not reached full retirement age- which in your case would be age 67, Social Security benefits will be subject to income limits.
Because you've made a very basic regarding Social Security benefits, your master plan for your senior years- which will arrive sooner than you think, is likely laced with other errors, many of which are more serious.
