For students, which one do you prefer?

Thank God I'm not a teenager in school anymore. Online classes would have been really hard for me. I get distracted very easily when I'm not interested and with my father in the house all the time it would make it even harder. Plus growing up our house was very very small and we never had any privacy.
I was studying accounting during the first half of last year and classes were online which I liked because I didn't need to travel etc to attend, however I'm kinda older than regular students. That said, attending actual class might be better for younger people.
I am an animation major. I preferred online for general education or stuff like web design/coding. In person for my core classes like animation, character design, graphics and cartooning. Having half of my classes online really helped with my work/education/life balance.
Face to face. I think kids are getting a raw deal these days and teachers unions should be abolished.

I teach at a college and I hated the online courses I had to teach. The students did not really learn anything, many cheated on the exams and the college really did not want me to fail anyone.
Our of curiosity, can you see when students are cheating?

@kyleelyn199723 On the first exam I asked a question about something I went over in class. A few people gave me a different answer. he thing is, thy all gave the same wrong answer. I looked it up on Google and Google gives the same wrong answer. My next exam had a trick question and again some students gave the same wrong answer.
@exitseven that’s very interesting to know. I know some people in my actual in person class that used to cheat because my professor would give online exams and I always wanted to know if she knew.
@kyleelyn199723 sometimes they know and just do not want to get involved with accusing students of cheating.
I have a policy in my classes that if you are sick and cannot show up to take an exam I have to be notified beforehand. If they do not notify me and just blow it off I give them a zero. I put this in the syllabus and go over it on the first day. A student did not show up and I gave him a zero. He told me that his brother was killed in Afghanistan and he was dealing with that. He was a veteran too so I almost went for it. We have a Veterans Services office at the college and I talked to the director and he said he had a way to find out if his brother really was killed. It turned out he was lying so I failed him
Even the parents are helping kids to cheat. My bro and his wife are teachers and parents have been caught giving answers to quizzes , when the kids forgot to turn off the mic lol
@exitseven wow that’s insane!! He definitely should’ve been kicked from school for that. Wow
Online classes ☺️ Though I can see how people would want face to face if their living space just isn’t meant for a quiet focused place to learn
I rather choose online I was bullied and the social outcast when I attended school in person.
I chooses face to face but if hybrid was an option I would choose that
I think in person.
