China is witnessing acute labour shortage. Not because people are not there. But, the younger generation is not willing to go in the manufacturing sector.

Not as a labour but as a manufacturing worker.

People ranging from 20 to around 30, are not willing to go in manufacturing sector costing in thousands of labour shortage. The forecast is the rise to 30 million till 2025.

This sector in China serves ⅓ of the demand of the world. Clearly, the prices are going to increase in the near future.

Office job. Desk job.

Manufacturing job.

It's far from their only problem. People in china has been doing bare minimum for generations so nothing new. Why work hard if it leads to being robbed and put in place? Government has fucked over the population so frequently that they simply don't want to put an effort into anything. But if you lack a working force it doesn't help if you keep shutting down factories due to covid lockdowns.

If you start off molding sex toys, that is your life's work. There is no technical merit. That is why their military is also a paper tiger. Like Russia's.
