The data doesn't show that to me. That seems more like an emotional response than a logical one. Skilled entrepreneurs have the worst ups and downs. Sometimes they're poorer than I am because they're in debt. But when their empire crumbles, they build new ones even if their ethics are questionable.
How about a different one? Entrepreneurial skills are some of the most difficult skills to relate to for most people. But take an Adele: ca-times.brightspotcdn.com/.../ Her singing skills make tons of money. If you took away all her wealth, she'd probably rise back to the top, no? How many of us can sing like Adele?
Usain Bolt: Fastest recorded runner in the world. 9.58 secs for 100m. $90 million. You strip away all his money and he's still the fastest man in the world, and he will become rich again.
You switched the topic from skill to talent and talent is even more worthless Adele almost lost her voice to cigarettes usain is aging and losing his legendary speed take away their money then and what will they have he could get shot and never walk again Adele could get her larynx crushed and never speak let alone sing again then what is she worth money sways the hearts of man people are weak and if you have money you can rule the world
I'm not sure I could rule the world even with endless money. I don't have the knowledge to invest it so wisely and whatever semblance of leadership skills I have are only applicable on the smallest scale. I might make a decent squad leader but not a general. I'm a drunk by the way! I've probably spent over $100,000 dollars or more over the course of my lifetime on alcohol. I figure there are at least some people better suited to spend their wisely than me, and so I want their skills.
I actually have a reasonable sum of money. I save it. But I don't know how to invest it and turn it into more. So I'd trade a large sum of money if I was guaranteed the skills to make more.
Money is to be horded and used as leverage over the masses withhold and deprive the less fortunate their suffering is key to your profit the rich get richer the poor get poorer
I don't agree with the narrative that the poor get poorer. Unless we're talking about homeless people the poor in developed nations aren't poor like they were a hundred and fifty years ago when they genuinely had to worry if they'll starve or freeze to death the following winter. I think the rich get richer must faster than the poor. That's for sure. They can get richer absurdly faster. But our idea of poor these days are people wealthy enough to post how poor they are on the internet.
You make money by keeping other poor poor ever hear of dirty money drugs prostitution slavery whatever destroys communities and oppressed the lower class making it nearly impossible for them to claw their way out of poverty like the rats they are
There's no mystery to poverty as I see it because that's the basic human condition. The bulk of history is people being violent, enslaving others, people struggling just for basic food and shelter. To be poor is what we are perhaps naturally meant to be. I find more mystery in how some people can break free of that because most of us won't if we start with those conditions.
We can't learn much anyway from people who fail. Take dating as an example. Is there much to learn from a man who has never been able to get a date vs. one who gets dates back-to-back? Resenting the most successful people doesn't let us learn from them.
The way I see it is that those types who say rich people are so corrupt are basically the incels of the market. The incels have the same rhetoric. They think every man who is successful with a woman must be some lying, cheating, asshole. They don't recognize what these men are doing right to get dates because their hatred blinds them to it.
not really, humans deserve to love and to be loved as well... the animals, your closest friends, etc. money is not the only thing in existence that is worthy to be loved
just because something is forever doesn't automatically make it more worthy to be loved... the time it has been around does not determine worth or value... i think that money is cool, put personally not more important. what kind of world would it be if we loved nothing but money? now reverse it and see how much better it would be if we loved other things more than money.
@TsAubreyKate "money is forever" - if that's your justification, then why choose money? Many other things are "forever" and many of them are much more permanent and long lasting than money. Examples: sun/sunshine, rocks, ocean, space, moon, mountains, sky, etc.
Money burns. Governments who issue money fail. Money is not forever, at least not as much as other things. So if you stick to your justification, you should stop loving money and start worshiping the sun.
Second, you accuse @_brianna of being immature and slow, but you have a rather immature understanding of money from what you write. "Money created everything you have." that's a rather simple-minded way of understanding. Money did not create all the goods and services we have in our lives, even though we use money to pay for them and use money as a medium for exchange, it does not create. You can put 5 million dollars on a planet by itself and a year later it will just be the same pile of paper. But a planet with 5 million people on it will be active, constantly changing and creating and destroying, manipulating the environment and shaping it to their will. ]
I get how you are obsessed with money, but really it's such a simple minded perspective that doesn't understand what money really is at the core, why it exists. It's like some caveman saying "Rock is the best thing ever, nothing is better, no one can prove this wrong. Rock is everything to Ugg, rock make tools, rock kill animals for meat, bang rocks to make fire. Nothing better than rock!" Money is just a tool, the same way rock is a tool for Ugg. Go ahead and make a big deal of it and worship it if you like, the world has plenty of fools, one more doesn't make a difference either way.
@zeitgeist057 you’re so simple you only see money as an object, paper coin it’s a number it’s been years since I used paper money that’s ghetto and low class and by the way the sun is going to explode the ocean can dry up an asteroid the size of Rhode Island would completely destroy the moon mountains are apart of the earth which will eventually die space and the sky are no different than over here or there they’re just somewhere you can be bad example and rocks aren’t forever they constantly change form and some of them aren’t even rocks anymore jackass you gave horrible examples currency is eternal
@TsAubreyKate I'm sorry, from your reply it is apparent your English comprehension skills are limited and causing you to be confused. I'm afraid you don't understand what I wrote at all, if that is your summation.
I find it hard to believe you're really such a moron you think money, which doesn't exist without people, is more eternal than the sun, when people don't exist without the sun. It's more likely you're just trolling as an intentional asshole. Either way, this conversation is over, because you offer nothing of value.

Most things. All money's good for is the stuff it gets you.
a reliable, confidant person whom you can easily reconcile with, even if you sometimes resent each other.
Not if cancer has anything to say about it
Gold and silver bullion
The skills to make it.
If you don't have the skills to make it, you lose it and you can't get it back.
No suckers work all the real money is made from blackmail lying cheating scamming and manipulation
That's still a skill as I see it. Jeff Bezos might be a despicable man but he has skills.
They aren’t worth more than the money those skills are one time use only
The data doesn't show that to me. That seems more like an emotional response than a logical one. Skilled entrepreneurs have the worst ups and downs. Sometimes they're poorer than I am because they're in debt. But when their empire crumbles, they build new ones even if their ethics are questionable.

I try to sing on stage and no one gives a shit. That's why my net worth isn't $400 million.

Their fathers failed them and didn’t teach them how to truly make money or get women and cash out on taking advantage of human nature

I feel sorry you that you are so misguided and financially immature it’d be a lazy hippie society money created everything you have
I'm not sure what that means but um I said what i said?

i wouldn't think of myself as slow though, i just didn't understand what you said
