What should I do about this job?

Yeah, if they keep slacking on calling you back by all rights, you deserve an explanation why they're not calling you back and I know this can be upsetting, I kept calling this Lawyers office and leaving messages on their answering machine, on money they owed me which was $42.00 I made a statement telling them I was starving, well the asshole secretary sent the message to the police and they came to my door well I told them I wasn't starving but I kept calling that office to get my money back., So yes these people can be slackers and finally got my money back but you deserve an answer whether they are going to hire you or not my opinion is put an application in
someplace that the lifting won't be real heavy
Not sure what area you are in, but just about every business in town is looking for help, but we are not a college town, so that might make a difference.
Keep looking, something will turn up.
My dad always told me that it is ear to get a job if you already have a job.
So even if you find something that is not high on your list, take it, that will help take some of the pressure off, and thn you can find something that you like better.

You really do not know what is going on behind the scenes. The guy that has to sign off on this might be on vacation or the person that needs to do the paperwork has just been fired. There could be many reasons.
which job is it?
i would say maybe call back tomorrow
just hang tight. im sure she will tell you your schedule
yes i saw. sounds unorganized a bit tbh
could be paperwork issues.. i don't know.
contact the company that gave you the orientation, they should have also givin you a "start date"
sounds like we will call you thing , which means you didn't get it
They do all kinds of stuff today. Maybe to see how the people react before deciding
I would guess that they hired more people that they needed and orientation was more additional screening as applicants than orientation. Keep looking and don't wait.
Of course you should pursue other job opportunities until you are actually hired and working. Even then you should continue looking if you think you might find a better job.
Call back one more time and if they don't respond then move on
Its their loss you know your a good worker they just lost out on
That is common with places with a lot of turnover
