I got nominated for head girl but I don't think I deserve it. What should I do?

Well I was not the most academic person in school either. But throughout my life in certain situations I was placed in leadership positions and I never realized why or understood it. But my mentors always told me I was a nature leader. I did not really understand what that meant at the time.
Later on in life I joined the military and even in basic training I was given leadership positions when I believed there were far better soldiers than myself who truly wanted the job. I never wanted it, I hated it because I hated the responsibility. I just wanted to fuck off and have fun.
Later one as I got older I began to understand what it was that people saw in me. I was far from the best solider, but I was an excellent leader. I always found a way to relate or engage with people on some level that inspired some degree of fellowship and belonging.
Its a fact that the most successful people in life are not always the smartest, brightest, biggest or strongest... but they possess some degree of self confidence and charismatic quality or self driven to succeed in a way that inspires others.
I would advise you to embrace the opportunity, because it will allow you to grow and improve as a person.
Its your job as head girl to report anyone who is kissing in school hallways. Tests has nothing to it.
You got picked for a reason. You must have other qualities you do not realise. Embrace it, self doubt is literally the worst thing. Be proud and thankful. You earn’t it because they chose you. In life you must embrace your opportunities and not regret them. Also, think how sad everyone would be if they think you not happy with the compliment!
