Who was your craziest / most interesting teacher?

I had a History/humanities teacher, let’s call him Mr. E.
Mr E was my humanities teacher for summer school when I was entering my junior year. It was at a completely new school, and I knew NO ONE! He was pretty nice, he was chill, and he was outgoing. He was maybe in his 40s, and people compared him to Ron Jeremy…
He was definitely laid back, old school, but also modern? He was definitely the “stoner, cocaine, acid, 70s jimi hendrix” type of personality. He always said “dude” or cussed. He was far different from my other teachers. He was super cool though. He gave no shits.
Anyways, one day I was driving to school and I was super early. I saw his car and his windows were so fogged up and he walked out. The pungent smell of weed immediately hit me lol. I mean, it was shocking but not really lol. All the kids in the school (super small school, like 200 kids or less), would smoke weed or vape nicotine, and of course Mr E was like “don’t do that!” but he was the same one doing it.
I remember I got caught with weed and vapes in high school and I eventually stopped. He would talk to me and be like, “you gotta be smarter with it,” and he would then tell me about all his drug experiences lol. I went back to visit him recently after I graduated, and he was excited to see me. He wanted to talk to me about all the new drama or what the other students were doing. He told me who unfortunately overdosed, who got expelled, who’s working at mcdonald’s, who didn’t graduate, etc etc.
He was an very interesting teacher to say the least. I really liked him, I think he was a great teacher, despite being extremely unprofessional. He was one of my favorite teachers who actually taught academics instead of some other classes such as art or construction. My art and construction teachers were both interesting but they come in second for my favorites. Ironically, me, Mr E, my art teacher, and my construction teacher were all super close, and the teachers kept me in the links with all the drama.
Miss Wells, who became Mrs Padderson over spring break. Invited the 4th grade class to HI for her wedding. She always had wild and fun ideas. Her class was memorable for sure.
Thanks for mhg.
We had a teacher who would go missing ever other year, for a few months. Guess her students pushed too many of her buttons. I finally had her as a teacher in my senior year she was a fantastic teacher, but a lot of her students treated her bad. I like her and thought she was normal.
I had teachers that would go missing for months on end. They do that also when trying to become principle. In 2nd and third grade my same teacher was replaced by a fav substitute. Never knew who would wall in the door. We would cheer when it was the sub. Made her laugh and punch the air. It’s a shame yours was mistreated. (Mine did eventually become principle)
In 5th grade this teacher pinned a student up against the door grabbing him by his shirt. It was crazy, I dont know what happened to her after though.

In elementary school, it was one of the substitute teachers. He spent the whole class telling us his life story and giving us a pep talk. He was so into it that he hit his head on the cabinet very forcefully, on purpose. He was telling something about banging one's head against the wall, and I guess he took it quite literally 🤪 To us, kids it was hilarious when he did it.
I haven't that many interesting teachers in high school tbh, but now at Uni, there are quite a few of them.
