Live in a boring town with your spouse with OKAY jobs, but have no debt and be able to travel to exotic places all the time.

Live in an exciting city, raise a family, have tons of friends and family, work in the same company with you spouse

I don't see the conflict between them. So where in life would the choice be? One choice would be stay in hometown vs moving to a bigger city. Which involves higher demands since costs are higher, competion is higher. So this choice depends on personality some move while being young and then move back when your older and want to settle down.

A sounds more appealing to me. It would be nice if I didn't have any debt. Plus I would really like to travel. I also wouldn't want to work with my future spouse because I would see him constantly and I wouldn't want to mix my work life with my personal life.
