What did you do to become successful?

Worked hard, self employed, started and ran 4 other businesses.
Sold those and made some money invested in commercial and residential real-estate, built a nice lake home lived there for 20 years, updated it and sold it and made good money on that, built a new home for retirement, retired and sold my main business.
Now my building is all paid off and is income producing.
