Has anyone ever call you "Boss"? If so, how did you respond to it?

Yeah at the ammo store and sometimes in certain shops or just random people say what's up boss or how is it going boss, when walking by

I never let people call me that and I’ll never be completely comfortable with it. I’m like just use my first name and we are good

A girl I dated, a crazy Brit, used to call me that. It was annoying, but I never really complained as there's worst things someone could call you.

She calls me: ''her favourite boss'' :)
I respond with a smile and a thank you.

The people who worked in my department sometimes did. I used to just respond to them like always.
