I've had guys call me that, and I *am* the boss, but I ran my employees more like a team and more like I was the coach. Their success was my success, so I was motivated to give them far more training and resources and help than anyone else in our field so that they would be more successful. And it worked - they WERE more successful and made more money and had an easier time making it.

"Yeah boss." "Of course brother." Etc. With women I just say ma'am. That's kind of interesting to me.
