I was recently promoted in my work and there this senior who is really good at what she does, we were both in the same department before she was promoted which was like 1 and a half to 2 years before me. She doesn't talk much but her character was okay before she was promoted, not so arrogant, always approachable when I had questions. Now that I am promoted, I don't know what's her problem, everytime I see her, she just looks through me like as if I don't exist. When other colleagues acknowledge her, she replies but when I do she just nods. I understand that she's good at what and I feel that when you're good at your work, its okay to be a bit boastful but that doesn't mean you should be so arrogant about it, isn't? Do you'll think that from now onwards should I ignore her or just say hi because we work in the same department and it's kind of toxic to have these kind of feelings towards each other? As we spend most of our time at work?
