Ever done inventory for a store?

Inventory is when you scan literally every item in the entire store to estimate how much you have!
We're only supposed to have to do it once a year, but a different store district messed up their inventory and we have to pay for it too!
So we'll be doing it a second time in a couple weeks...
Last time it took us 12 hours, we were there from 8 PM to 8 AM.
This time I'm prepared, I got my comfy slippers to bring, my music and food 🍙🍣

Side note, I just got a second job as a substitute teacher! I'm excited 😆

More or less, my sister and I had to do the inventory of the plant she's managing, last year.
It's not like a store, but it's quite large and takes a week usually.
It's always fun.

Not for a store but I did it for a garment factory. You had to count every zipper, 25 different colors, every yard of fabric, every foot of the plastic, every button, every spool of thread

I used to spend hours and even days at my uncle's business and they were contractors, would even count and store nails and screws one by one... lol

I have diagnosed OCD too, it just manifests itself in different ways.

yeah, I know how that can be... I never got a diagnose due to mine being seemingly mild, they were very much more present in my early childhood, and then they either started to fade or I just got able to manage them

nowadays some of them can persist a bit more than others

Yes I worked for a business and we took inventory every year. This was before we had a computer. It was a boring task.
