Do you think drag Queen story time is a wonderful idea for children?

Absolutely. Kids in my city love it, and so do the Queens.
It's a chance for the Queens to use some of their more fairy tale esque costumes, and give back to the community. And the kids are often too little to know what a drag queen is or even register that's what's happening.
Kids see a fairytale princess or fairy godmother, they get a book read to them, and sometimes older kids who understand more about LGBTQ get to ask some questions they haven't felt safe asking at home or school. It's a safe environment, and most of the time it's just kids loving that a real life fairy princess is reading them a book.
It's not like seeing or interacting with a Drag Queen will make children gay or anything. If the kid is gay, they were always gonna be gay.
Well, it teaches them that the world is full of freaky weirdos, which IS an important lesson, and that freaky weirdos don't always want to eat your bones. I doubt it's the best way to convey that, but I think most of the hysteria is just NAMBLA-shyre panic mongering.
If you have kids (now or in the future), talk to them about what they see and experience; raise them to be critical thinkers who can judge and discern, and they'll have far fewer problems.
In a healthy society these faggots would be playing drag queens in a prison facility.
