That's why children need a FATHER in their lives, not just a single mother making all the decisions. @LuvAsh I actually looked up "drag queen" on google image search to get pictures for my post and I literally scrolled all the way down and couldn't find a single one that wasn't noticeably demonic in some way.
Wow, so much hate. Just because someone wants to live their lives their own way and actually wants to do something good. Now I understand why society is crumbling.
Because they aren't creeps. I've met a few drag queens and none of them dress like this. And they were all really nice people. Okay maybe some of them dress like that but not all of them do.
I don’t really get the point of it... like I get adults finding drag shows amusing but the effort seems kind of wasted and unnecessary on kids. I wouldn’t take my kids, I’d prefer them to learn kindness and tolerance for diversity from us instead of drag queens who are usually far over the top, generally crude and not often seen where my children would be day to day
It's reading stories to kids in what's mostly colourful and extravagant costumes. I don't see what the problem is. Kids are more likely to listen to a Drag Queen than a more typical adult because of how they look, so helps keep the kid interested. And it makes Drag Queens become more accepted by the next generation.
Is there any particular reason for which drag queens are needed? I mean, if someone is good at telling stories (storytelling/reading is an art) and coincidentally they happen to be a drag queen, then it's fine. But if they are doing it for scoring inclusivity points then maybe not. I wouldn't be so open to it.
It's to teach children to accept people like that and not be hateful towards them to show that people of other sexualities and genders are also normal people.
Gender itself is based on science its scientific word just like biology its used to describe the person DNA make up XY & XX society set up is based on that. Also it's not set up by society men have always been acting like men never acted like women until 21st century feminist ideology.
Its genatic if you look at baby girl, she will always play with dole and make cup of tea as well adult doll with baby dole sometimes even marriage.
Men in other hand have been action game lovers, aggressive sport & chose risky path career compare to women who chose less risky career such as health care & nursing. This is genetic. Caring for family is women job its scientific proven. Men & women at equal both gender work differently, last only gay guy got bulled & shamed not straight men being shamed, never heard of that before.
Then while girls play with dolls and boy with cars is a society defined gender role. I've seen lots of girls choose to play with cars and lots of boy with dolls. I agree that there are differences between boys and girls but nothing should be forced on them. Let them discover it themselves
@sasukeuchiha7 but then why is it that many liberal daycares purposefully switch up the toys of girls and boys and encourage one gender to play with the other's toys? Why not just let them choose?
Okay, I didn't phrase my comment really well, sorry. If other parents would want to bring their kids it's none of my business, and I wouldn't protest against 'drag queen story time'. I just would not want my kids to go.

Kids do not need to learn about sexual fluidity. That just damages their psyche. Sexuality in and of itself can be complicated, no need to complicate it further.
