WTF? Where I live a bunch of guys who belonged to an alleged white supremacist group stood outside a public library in protest of drag queen story hour that was being held in the library. It was a completely peaceful protest and they were exercising their first amendment rights. The US attorney is trying to prosecute them and will do nothing about drag queens reading to little kids.

It’s their right to object. The real problem is if kids are emotionally imposed upon and lack control to leave or challenge.

This has been happening a lot lately. Any group or entity with ideals different from the left is branded a “hate group” or “terrorist organization” despite having never even made threats, let alone resorted to violence. In most cases they are just normal children's books they would read on their own. We really should do research into what was being read without leaping to conclusions. We also need to understand that, in the end, these are just people taking time out of their schedule to read to children. Something that not a lot of people take the time to do even with their own kids. That's noble even if we don't agree with them doing it in drag.

America is racist, white people are evil, it is okay for a guy to say he is a girl and everyone better believe it. It is all laid out in black and white. I don't think that kids that young are old enough to form their own opinions about a lot of this stuff and just think it is all true because somebody read it to them from a book.

As for the rest, America does have racists in it and to deny that is willful ignorance. Does that mean it's racists as a whole? Of course not, but we can't deny that it doesn't happen to some of us. I've been a victim of it myself just being half Mexican.

Drag Queen Story hour is deliberately marketed towards children. It is subsidized by the state, performed in public schools and libraries, for minors who have no decision on whether or not they wish to attend these events.
