try setting a goal and reaching it :) for example start with saving a few thousand and then try saving a quarter million 😀

Usually, banks service has a limit of money you must have in your account daily! ! ! if you don't have this amount they charge you a xtra fee or cost.

when i accumulate savings i like to invest in crypto ₿, Ξ, and many many more but i don't spend all my savings when my investments go up i sell it for usd as fast as possible into a spending or back into saving account. don't let people steal your savings.
saving does not mean "not spending" 💕💕💕 it means "saving" for something else instead of spending majority of the money on one item you save by buying an alternative economic choice for a fraction of the cost 💕💕💕saving is Chique. this is some information i found on the internet :

✨Savings is the amount of money left over after spending and other obligations are deducted from earnings.
✨Savings represent money that is otherwise idle and not being put at risk with investments or spent on consumption.
✨Savings accounts are very safe but tend to offer very low rates of return as a result.
✨Saving can be contrasted with investing, in that the latter involves seeking to grow wealth by putting money at risk.
✨Negative savings is indicative of household debt or negative net worth.:

My advice is to first pay off debt that gains interest before focusing on saving too much money.
Don't invest in things that can quickly lose your money like stocks or 401k.

If you want a good retirement, get an education for a union job that offers retirement in addition to social security.

Saving half or 1/4 of your monthly income is impossible for most people. It isn't worth living so poor that you can't enjoy anything in life.

One way to save money is to have a less expensive house and car. Those two things are the largest expenses for most people so if you save on them it will be much easier on you in the long run.

I put minimum 30% of each paycheck in to savings that I don't plan on touching except for emergencies. After that, allocate for bills, debt and other expenses. Little money for myself. And what's left over also goes in to savings. Done it this way for 5 years. So far have 75k tucked away for a rainy day

If you can, depends on how you make, put aside almost half of your pay check to your savings. See how much it grows in a year. Do not touch it! Unless it’s an emergency

Well most jobs allow you to split your pay check direct deposit into 2 or more accounts. so I setup mine where it puts 80% into my checking for monthly bills and and basic needs. While putting the other 20% into my saving for rainy day fund and/or retirement. Also have about 5% of my paycheck going to my 401k for retirement since job would match up to that amount. Been saving money like this for nearly a decade now and have roughly 2 year salary put away already. helps I live a more causal lifestyle and stay within my means when possible.

      I did 10% of filling out the 401k. I read that’s what it’s advised

really depends on your employer and what their willing to match. mine was only doing up to 5% so I figured I would just do that much and put the rest into a high interest saving account on my own.

but since my monthly costs are less then 80% of my monthly income. I'm able to put away the other roughly 20% into savings as well for longer use.

As for you a good goal is to save three times your annual salary but for starters save what you can & budget your money. Buy only what you need & not what you want but on the other hand don’t forget to treat yourself from time to time.

I prefer to have at least 10k saved up, but it really depends on your financial situation. I would save at least 20% every month and act like it doesn't exist until shit hits the fan real hard.

At last you should save 1/4 of you salary every month. Then you can save good amount. And you should invest some money.
