Drive-thrus have become the site of much more violent disputes in the United States.
An Atlanta Subway employee was shot dead in front of her son on Sunday after an argument with a customer about "too much mayonnaise on his sandwich," the restaurant announced.
In May, a dispute at a Taco Bell drive-thru in California allegedly led to a man shooting at another customer's vehicle, striking him at least once in an attempted homicide.
And in 2019, a woman allegedly became so infuriated at a KFC employee over her lack of utensils that she fired through the drive-thru window

I don't think I'd ever want to work fast food in today's climate of unprovoked violence. This is not an issue of guns, but an issue on cold, dark hearts. What's the world coming to if you can't even go out for fast food without worrying about being killed by some impatient dick?No sardines on my pizza? Take that suckers!!

Why are these mentally ill people carrying? Seems odd that so many mentally unbalanced people are carrying. They probably would have thrown food or things at people instead of shooting people whenever they get so mad without a gun, do they need anger management for these people or better background checks and references before they can get one? unless it’s illegal I guess. It’s crazy out there, too much stress I guess in life, see some road rage out there and they shoot people too
Tbh I think every job is dangerous because u don't know truly know who gonna get killed the next min
I mean the singers can get shot ( how they have a shooting etc ) The clerk at a hotel can get killed The firefighters can get killed in a fire The police can get killed by the suspects. And everything else..
Cashier jobs can be dangerous too. I've dealt with some pretty scary people already and I've only worked a year. Drive through's? You'll never see me working that. A friend of mine worked in one near me for a bit but he already went elsewhere
I was going to say the people who put up power lines or something like that. A drive-through cashier would never have been on my list of 'most dangerous jobs', although we don't have many guns in the UK so it is not an issue here.
We have a friend who works at a well-known. German-owned, discount food chain, and some elderly witch was shooting a video of our friend after the witch got done antagonizing her. Yes, it's getting down and dirty out there. The thing about working in a restaurant drive-thru is that you really have no place to move to (to avoid bullets, fists, etc).
People do not have any patience anymore. I wouldn’t want to deal with the public either! As for the most dangerous job in my opinion. That would be someone that defuses bombs! One mistake could scatter you all over the place!
Every winter I get zapped with about 25,000 volts when I shuffle across our carpet and touch a switch. Of course the AMPerage is pretty much infinitesimal, so no real harm. Another time I grounded out working on our car and took 12 volts, BUT, that was from a 560 amp battery! Took a couple days for my arm to feel normal again! Years ago when my folks had their electric upgraded, the electrician wondered out loud if a line was 120 or 240. He licked his finger, touched a wire, shrugged and said "eh- just 120".
@Massageman you do pick up static electricity from carpeting. The new arc fault breakers would trip if that happens. I've checked to see if a wire was live by touching it with my index and middle fingers. The voltage just goes through the two fingers. If you do it with fingers on each hand the voltage goes through your body. You never want it to do that. That's what happened to me when I got hit with 480 volts and 40 amps
(We have the 120/240 power pedestal for our house and a neighbor in our backyard). One time when we were having yard work done, the excavator operator cut one of the 120's which went to our house and the neighbor. Very weird- fans slowed, lights dimmed- - - anything in the house that used that one side of the feed either couldn't run or could barely run.
@Guardian45 Fishing boat have a lot of machinery that endure a lot of mechanical forces. A cable might snap and if it hits somebody they could be killed. Or somebody could get snagged and get pulled over the side. All this is going on while the sea tosses the boat around like a toy.
the shows on tv are the safest they don't want a lot of dead people on tv but there are so many boats that are unsafe foreign countries have no safety concerns at all, but they are not on tv
