I'm gonna start college pretty soon and I'm kinda petrified lmao any advice?

-Dont give in to peer pressure.
-Learn to trust your intuition. If your gut says not to do something even if the situation feels harmless trust it!
-Dont ever let a person pour your drink at parties. Or accept a drink if you haven't watched the person pour the contents yourself. No ifs ands or butts.
Step outside of your comfort zone and join that club that looks interesting if your time allows.
-Study first and play later. Having to do an all nighter for an upcoming quiz isn't worth it so just study in increments or badger your professors for hints on what will actually be on the quiz ( they usually do that already though)
-Have fun but not with reckless abandon.
-Wear slippers in the shower room even while showering. I have heard the showeroom floors on campus are gross as fuck.
-Dont let anyone pressure you into dating someone you dont like for sake of "giving them a chance." if you know in your gut that you dont like that person romantically dont force yourself to out of pity or guilt. People who try to guilt others to date them are losers.

Don't be petrified and its ok to be nervous but don't worry because is just like stepping out in the real world like going to the store, Movie theaters, park, and other places that have people of all ages (especially ages 16yrs and up past 50yrs sometimes). Remember to take your school work serious by staying focus, studying, and always double checking by preparing yourself starting right now to see are you going towards and qualified for your career. You will be tempted but to overcome your challenges is by being mature, responsible, listening, respect, cautious, making wise choices, and learning will take you far even when you make mistakes. Your going to fun but don't ever take life for granted, and enjoy yourself. 😉

Everyone goes through what you are going through. Just pay attention to details. A professor will give you an assignment. He will tell you exactly what he is looking for and you should try your best to follow his instructions.
Make sure you pay attention to managing your time and setting priorities.
