Do you work on Fridays?

Seems like a lot iof people take fridays off these days. Do you?

No, ever since I began volunteering at the rape crisis center, I’v worked at least SOME Friday's! Although, it was after I got my own car, so I’d usually head to a friend’s house after work, where I would be sleeping over, and as soon as her parents went to bed, we’d get dressed as sexy and “adult” as we could, and sneak out to go to nightclubs. I still remember the first time, the bouncer asked for my ID, and knowing it clearly said that I would NOT BE 21 UNTIL… we still almost always got in? Seriously, I'm still amazed! The crazy thing is in FL most clubs allow 18 year olds in, with a indestructible plastic like bracelet that read “UNDER 21”. When we were 16 & 17, we never got those, but after we turned 18, more and more, we’d have to wear the “under 21” band of shame! But Friday nights are definitely for going out, not working!

Sometimes, I do show up for work on Fridays... doesn't mean I actually work, sometimes I just pretend to.

Although Fridays are often our busiest day cause many A-holes, err customers... who could of contacted us all week, wait until after 3 pm Friday to reach out, cause suddenly that important item they've been ignoring all week must be resolved right this moment.

Ironically, in some cases we can't resolve it until Monday and suddenly the urgency is gone until the next Friday.

As for me I work Monday to Friday & sometimes out of the kindness of my heart I’ll work on Saturday if they ask me nicely however contractually I’m not obligated to & I’ll make them pay.

I'm self employed so if I really didn't want to, I could just stay home, but I usually go. Fridays I call Cerveza Day. 😄 Guys seem to drift over from anywhere to drink. If we don't leave by 8, I just go home.

I'm not working at the moment, but I used to work on Fridays. The other day I read an article about a company that allowed its employees to not on Fridays. It would be nice to work there hahaha
