Working late on a Friday?

He's in construction and they aren't behind Schedule or anything. All week he's got off between two and three. Now today he text me and says he'll be off around five or six. Does he think i'm dumb

Being behind schedule is one reason why he might work late. Someone being sick is another. Having to make alterations to a job done, is another.

You either trust him or you don't. It's not about being dumb. Has he given you any other reason not to trust him?

What do you suspect? Do you think he's cheating? Drinking with his friends? Playing Poker? Playing DnD with the guys? Or just staying out late so that he can make you miss him?

See. I'm not sure how you know all that much about his job. Since you're most likely not in construction, yourself. So you really do have to ask yourself why it is that you think he's playing you for a fool.

Well the team might have part of the project that will take that long, but as you do not trust him just dump him and move on.

The amount of times I've had to stay at work for a couple of extra hours due to an event, a shortage, or someone being sick is unreal. She really doesn't trust him.

Yeah I just finished work it’s 1030 pm because the fucking Forman called in I got stuck intalling a on demand and moving the placement to another part of the house by myself.
