The worst job I had was when I was a manager at a McDonald’s.
I would have to run a Saturday night shift with two trainees who barely knew what they were doing, and I essentially felt like I was running the store by myself on the busiest nights of the week.
Even when I BEGGED them to give me better workers, they would always stick me with USELESS workers. yet every other closing manager got the privilege of having two of the best employees or even other managers on slow ass Monday nights. But I have to get stuck with two teenage trainees on a Saturday? What sense does that make 🤨
I also felt like I did a lot for the store and it was never good enough. I picked up shifts for everyone, I would stay later for them, would work a closing shift and get out at 12am and then come in 4 hours later to open. I’ve worked open TO close. NEVER called out. Would work 7 days a week sometimes. But yet every other manager acted like I was trash at my job because I forgot a dish or two in the sink. Suck my dick 💀
everything about that job was a nightmare. From the Coworkers, to the unprofessional management, to the customers. Everything. I wouldn’t work there again even if they paid me $40/hr lol.
