Should gender studies be banned from colleges and universities?

In my opinion they should be banned, I had to watch a semester of gender studies, and now I have to do a project on gender studies in public health core class four.

Banned? No. Bans are an inherently ignorant response to challenges. With limited exception, nothing should be banned.
Gender studies should be carefully categorized though. Some aspects of such a diverse topic can be supported with facts. The parts that cannot should be categorized as a philosophy course. Too many people come out of those philosophical lessons thinking they’re toting facts. And because they’re surrounded by others who think the same, and have the same resistance to questioning their own thoughts and feelings that we all have, they’re like ignorance viruses. Ell oh ell! Stopping the spread of ignorance is more important to the survival of our species than stopping the spread of disease.

@Subarugirl: A lot of federal taxes pay for all that student aid- subsidized loans, grants, scholarships, GI Bill payments. Public universities are also funded in large part by taxes (it was 59% at the university I attended as an undergrad).

Math isn't indoctrination- gender studies is. And arguably, you shouldn't have to take math after high school anyway unless it's required for your major.

I wouldn't be surprised if some universities did require all students to take a gender studies class.
