How to cope with a coworker who can’t keep up with basic things without a lot of assistance and it’s a high pressure, stressful job?

I feel you there, the only thing I've ever really had success with in this situation is trying to take the time to mentor them to get them better at the job. And if that doesn't work I just talked to the manager and get them reassigned or tell him to fire em. When I worked at the factory was the worst, because there's dangerous machines, it's 100°, you're there for 12 hours, and if I have to do the work of three people because I have to do my job, unfuck their job and then do their job It wears my ass out.

If they can't do the job, that they are being paid to do and it affects your work as well. Either you talk to the manager to see if they can get more training or you have to start looking for another job. Because if the managers won't handle the company's business, and higher competent workers, it's not a place you should be

That’s insensitive. Haha sounds like you haven’t worked with anyone else then in your life? It’s hard as fuck having a coworker not pull their weight and you have to pick up their slack. It’s exhausting, and yes it interferes with my job. I have 10 projects and she has like 2.

No I’m not. Some tasks we have overlap and I have many things I’m busy with so I need her to do those things. I’m not sure what else she’s busy with.
We work in a really high stress field... sorry you can’t relate?
