Many years ago I caught one of my employees goofing off while on the clock. I have no issues with this from time to time, but not all the time almost every day. I was this person's boss's boss. I called both of them into the office. I then walked over to a normally locked closet where we kept some VERY expensive supplies. I said help yourself if you are going to steal from the company might as well do it right. Understand, I am leaving a lot out, but I fired both of them that day. While a nap is OK I guess, what are you doing afterward? This is why I never wanted my people to work from home. I did agree to allow one of my VERY pregnant employees to work from home up until her baby was about 3 months old. Yes, I am a 100% bastard!

I don’t really have a lunch break. Usually have lunch around noon but I also work on the weekends and at night sometimes. So it’s less about napping and more about being responsive to emails and calls.

I used to nap on my lunch break when I worked in an office, but that was because it was a super stressful job where I was always on call so I needed to shut my brain down and have peace and quiet for a bit, but working from home now for almost 6 years, I don't find naps during the work hours necessary. I can't say I've never taken a nap, but I prefer to just do other things like mess around on my phone or just enjoy the lunch.

No, lunch break is for making lunch... I nap later when I'm getting paid, I called it PNT, or paid nap time.

I'm salary though, so napping just means I have to work later instead of being done at 3pm, If I nap for an hour, I have to work until 4pm, etc...

my husband kinda does, he'll does off for 15min or so. I couldn't, I would be too paranoid cause knowing me I would fall asleep and wake up and find out it's night or something lol

no i can never nap once i'm up for a few hours. what i do is laundry or vacuum or whatever else honestly

Rarely. Even if i get to take my break, my kids generally keep me busy.
