What is the Point of Going to School?

Getting up Early, Riding the Bus, Paying Attention in Class, Doing the Assignments, and Getting a Grade.
Is it preparation for getting a job?

The point of school is so that we don't have the standards of medieval times, when only few people per village could read and write, when people died of basic illnesses. Also it is to teach people that microwave isn't meant for drying pets, that freshly brewed coffee will be hot, or how basic laws of physics work.

People with basic education have less accidents as they have more developed logical thinking and have more knowledge.
