My did my boss ask me if I live alone?

so I started my new job this week.

On my first day my manager asked what town I'm from, then the other day he brought it up again said "You said you live in ___ right? ... do you live alone or with someone else?" and that was pretty much it.

Asking me where I'm from is not a big of deal, but I found it kind of weird for him to ask me if I live alone.

I've noticed him glanced at me couple times, he goes out of his way to show me, train me extra stuff that is not related to my work. So I was wondering if he's interested in me?

Am I overreacting here about him asking me if I live alone? lol
