Tips at Walmart?

So I know we aren't allowed to accept tips as company policy. But I work in the bakery and a customer wasn't taking no for an answer I said no one more time then walked to the other side of the room to get a bucket of frosting and he threw a 10 dollars bill into the bakery and disappeared what am I supposed to do now I don't want to get fired over this?

If they won't accept a no, it's generally better to take it, with something like an
"I'm not supposed to, but if you insist"; customer service is the name of the game, and it's better to violate a small rule that does no damage than to anger one. If you're really worried, talk to your boss afterward and seek confirmation that you did the right thing.

You didn't accept it, it wasn't transferred from his hand directly to yours. Pick it up and put it in your pocket. Otherwise somebody else is going to walk by and pick it up like found the money
