How to make someone forgive you?

I said some bad thing about a person who loves me as a sister.
He is my boss he was nice but made me work so much. He was giving me so much work but at the same time he always tell me im here for you.
Then i quit because and said to my coworker that the boss doesn’t really consider me as his sister because if that was true he would have changed things and v made work easier for me because it was possible!
My coworker told my boss what I've said now je os upset because i didn't tell him this in person! What should i do? Im so sensitive and i feel guilty!
