Is low IQ a limitation?

I have been practicing the online raven test for 10 years, but 2 months ago for the first time a psychologist gave me that same test and I got an IQ of 80.

The test did not seem so difficult to me because I already knew what it was about but I still got that result, The psychologist told me that this does not limit me at all and that the safest thing is that I actually have an average IQ, I have always had problems learning to understand things and get along in life and work, I do not have much creativity, I'm bad at any mental task, I'm a slow learner, in school and high school I was always behind, and at work I'm also behind I don't understand things that are explained to me, the only jobs I do well are those that don't require thinking and making decisions about repetitive and routine jobs, I was never interested in studying, I only learned by heart so as not to fail and that was enough, and I was never interested in going to university.

Maybe it’s not accurate IQ tests. The average IQ sits at 100, and most people are either a few points above or below. The IQ you’re saying is… maybe not politically correct but used to be near mental retardation. And you don’t seem to be, by your post.

Henry ford had a low IQ… he used to say he didn’t need to know everything, he just needed to know people who did. 🤷‍♀️
