What would you attempt to do, if you knew you could not fail?

One of my old high school teachers wrote this question on the chalk board and the asked us to write our answers down. After we all wrote something he said this

"So many people are so scared to answer that question honestly, for fear that if they don't achieve whatever the answer is they'll let themselves and those around them down.

But, if you do have the confidence, and the conviction, to answer that question honestly, maybe you won't achieve what you set out to... but you'll get really far down the road just for having tried."

I have no been in high school since the 1980s and I never forgot this. So how would you answer this question?

I've often thought about this.

My ultimate fantasy.

I'd be an accomplished performing musician/singer, unknown and unnamed, proficient in a myriad of genres that would please any audience, no matter what my imaginary bandmates and I might choose to perform for them; then be presented unnamed to a huge audience that is hungry to be entertained.

My mates and I put on a show that brings the house down, with everyone rejoicing in the great spiritual experience that such a performance can produce.

After the encores are completed and the lights fade, I return to my normal life, incognito, knowing that I can return to do it all over again, unknown, unnamed, whenever I choose to do so.

No fame, no fortune, just to have a bit of musical magic happen for a few hours every now and then.

That's what I'd do.

My teacher asked the same thing and it was kind of an inspiring moment because I realized that I was already trying to do something nearly impossible and the odds didn't phase me already.

Believing in yourself by taking inventory of what you can and can't do, and being comfortable enough to get help where needed is a big key to success to me.

I would rescue all stray cats and dogs in the entire world...

and get them adopted to great families and homes

but the actual task I would not want to fail would be educating people and making them conscious so these things would not happen ever again

As for all the options where I indeed can fail: I'm not planning to; that's how I approach my 'projects'. Some 'projects' are beyond my skills or experience; I'll leave them to others. There's no need to me for an inflated ego.
