What would be the best occupation for someone who likes to take 2 consecutive week vacations without getting fired?

I asked for a 2 week vacation to go to Italy and Malta and they fire me. I want to make sure this doesn't happened again. Naturally, I would prefer to be able to take 2 weeks and then later one week and maybe even another week. I did this before, and it wasn't a problem, now suddenly this year it was a problem, and they fire me because I go to Italy for 2 weeks.

I'm planning future trips that will require two weeks off, 'cuz I'm not gonna fly all the way to South Africa or the Caucasus and only stay a week.

Don't you have 4~5 weeks worth of vacation days (assuming you work full time)

It's normal when you can't take a week off when someone else is already on vacation during this time, but for me its normal to just hand in your wishlist for vacation and it gets approved (or not, and you have to reschedule) but usually its planned a year in advance and easy to work around.
At least for me, thats the case in germany, not sure how it works elsewhere.

Not exactly. Well, some companies do, but it's not something that's instantaneous. In most cases, you have to be with the company for 20 years to accumulate that much, at least with government jobs it is like this.

We don't have to wait a year, especially since it's seasonal. We put in a month in advance, even if we haven't accumulated all our vacation hours. I've NEVER seen them deny a time off request, even when they overlap. One time they even told me they're happy I cancelled because they need me😂
But this time they didn't even let me use my vacation hours, but I know they'll have to send me a check for it like they did before.
I'm just confused because I took a shit ton of time off last season and it wasn't an issue, so I don't know why it is now

Because they're stupid. We were short staffed over the summer, but then they hired a bunch of new people when the tourist season was coming to an end.

in germany, you get 20 days of vacation a year by law. that's 4 weeks, cause weekends don't count obviously. most employers don't care how you schedule these. the only issue that arises is when a bunch of employees want their days off in the exact same dates.

There's this British guy who runs trips to Syria and I complained that his trips are too short and I told him I'm not gonna fly that far for one week. He started explaining that the reason he does this is because most of the people who sign up for his tours are only able to take a week off work. That didn't even cross my mind. For me, it isn't worth it.

here, people may not take longer vacations, cause they can't afford to travel for 2 weeks xD or they don't wanna afford it, cause shit is expensive.
