Does anyone else agree with my opinion that a terrible, inconvienent method of learning math is with text books?

As opposed to what? No matter how you learn, you are going to have to solve problems to gain understanding.

If you approach math as just logic, instead of a set of procedures to learn, it makes a lot more sense.

It is just the size of a freakin text book..

I do agree that text is not the best approach to math, that is for sure...

math is something you have to create and re-create with your hands as well, and not just read in your mind... lol
