Do you feel like the things you learned at school were useless?

My frustration in school was the amount of wasted time. I still use some stuff. Basic math around the house and for my job. Shop class helped me with enough skills to be handy around the house. History, art, music and others like that have helped me talk to people and be a member of society and to better understand the world around me. The biggest benefit was English which got me and kept me my jobs through my career. So, true, I don't use a lot of specific things that I learned, but in aggregate I'm a more well-rounded person because of them and better able to be part of society.

I didn’t find my advanced mathematics education useful until i became an electrician.
My advanced English education is wasted on modern society. Misspellings and piss poor grammar EVERYWHERE, and nobody gives a shit. It’s a damn shame. All these idiots who really think they’re the business! Ell oh ell!

The only things "useless" in a sense was English in high school.
This is why, when I went to college, I made sure I went to a school in which there were no required English classes.

Yes and no.

The things you needed to learn in school are very useful however they are the basics you learn in the first year or two such as reading and math.
Arguably now, you don't need to learn how to read

I guess mostly math but English and Geography are the ones I find most useful. Biology too but the first ones mainly.
