As a student I didn't, but as a teacher I do. I make it more enjoyable for the students. I introduce new concepts on Monday and go over it step by step then do a couple with the students as a class. They only get 4 problems to do on their own on the first day. Second day I go over the concept again and then they do two on their own and the rest with a partner at their group. Wednesday is individual work. On Thursdays I do a competitive review. Usually Capture the Math Flag in groups and on the white board. Sometimes math basketball or math bingo. Friday is the quiz for assessment.
The students seem pretty happy with the way I do things. Oh, and the winning team/group from Capture the Math Flag usually gets suckers, Starbursts, or something similar.
I like algebra, solving equations, as well as realistic formulas. Not proofs in Geometry first of all they have a standard of steps you have to follow to explain correctly in class. Even if you write out your work. The angle solving part of geometry I like, not the proofs.
I like it, especially equations lol.
I don't have math at Uni, and I lowkey miss it. I can't believe I just typed that 😳
