Yes and my 10 year old son wants to be a pilot. I love planes and we both took an aerial tour of the Outer Banks of North Carolina and he enjoyed it. We were going to do it again but the crazy increased price of it kept us from taking another aerial tour. 😞

Totally. Remember that being a pilot doesn't just necessarily mean "commercial airline" flights, either; there are cargo planes and private airlines, and helicopters open up a surprising number of jobs that are less schedule-crazy.
