Even judges and attorneys don't know all the laws of Texas and the USA. Go into an attorney's office and view all the volumes of laws. You'll be overwhelmed. Not only that, laws are rarely written in simple English... allowing for multiple interpretations. Even if you knew all the laws, don't expect people to follow them, and not all of them are even enforced by all the same way... or at all. There are too many people who feel entitled to a larger piece of the pie... especially in Texas, where they feel entitled to twist laws in order to promote their agenda, so laws won't necessarily protect you. Laws are designed to protect the system and those in power. Laws can be used by you in court to get a legal order for something, but getting a judgment and collecting on that judgment are often very different. If you win a case, the Texas Legislature won't waste any time changing the law to suit their purposes.
For instance, the IRS has had a policy since 1977 that all sitting presidents will have their taxes audited, yet Trump fought that and wasn't audited while in office. Can anyone on this site claim to have paid less taxes than Trump? https://thehill.com/homenews/house/3785369-house-passes-bill-requiring-presidential-tax-audits-after-revelation-trump-skirted-scrutiny/ Don't expect laws to be enforced fairly. Just like history is written by those in power, so to are laws.
Laws a big area. Even lawyers only tend to specialise in one. What area of law? Criminal, contract, property, employment, commercial, sport, family, immigration. It’s a big area
why would you waste your time learning those laws
So people don't take advantage of me
how often does the situation arise in your life where you need to recite laws to save yourself
I mean to know my rights. I was taken advantage of for not knowing anything.
