Ok so many years ago I was diagnosed with Asperger’s, but also in the diagnosis he said I was intellectually challenged and would never be able to live on my own. I would have to be on disability cause I couldn’t work. Ok so fast forward many years. I have worked my way to assistant manager In my company I have lived on my own, myself and my girlfriend now share a place, lastly I’m a few semesters from having my bachelors degree. So I guess my question is for as much education it takes to pursue being a psychologist how can someone be so wrong in so many different areas

His predictions for your aptitude don't apply to someone with Asperger's. Diagnosis is based on observation not a lab test, so misdiagnosis is a real possiblity.
People with Asperger's tend excel academically and professionally, but personal relationships are a struggle. Picking up on social cues and empathizing don't come naturally.
