Sure so long as your basics needs are met. I work a shit ton of OT so I always treat myself. Pay schedule ends this Sunday, I have 36 hours already at $40 an hour for OT. Life is too short to not enjoy it a little. I mean sure saving money is always good but what happens if someone dies tomorrow, what good was saving all that money if you didn’t enjoy it at some. But I’m thinking like I did, took my girlfriend and I to Disneyland in Cali for 3 days, make memories. Sure purchasing things like bags, shoes, etc will make you happy for a week, maybe longer until you see a new bag or pair of shoes you “have to have.”

Of course, so long as your bills still get paid.
Yup. It’s unfair to yourself to be too strict with your money to the point where you aren’t doing anything for yourself. I have a friend that lives like that and tbh she seems like she lives in misery

Yes and no. If it means you don't eat or don't have hot water, then you need to prioritize, but if you can afford it, you can't take your money with you when you die so treat yourself.
