Should I try just to make enough for my needs instead of trying to get rich?

I decided the most high quality book topic I can think of might be a book that sells very few copies cause I've researched the market by buying books and I know what is popular and my high quality efforts are unlikely to be popular, just because the thought process is so quiet and typical.

Any more than you need is just greed. That’s one of the deadly sins.
Writing a book that you are interested in is something that would be easier, more fun and be better written then something you are not interested in even though it might make you more money.

You should strive to be the best Jennifer you can be. My belief is that giving that to G0d will please Him and in turn, he will provide for you. Transparency: I have failed at that so far because I have fallen short of the glory of G0d. Dammit!

While being rich wouldn't be bad of course, I would say just make enough to be comfortable with your living circumstances and not feel like you have to be tight or living paycheck to paycheck. That should be your primary goal.
