My boyfriend is Spanish but I still have no motivation to learn the language what is wrong with me?

What country do you live in? Is English the primary language in your country? Learning the Spanish language is totally up to you. Does he speak English fluently? If so, then learning Spanish is just something on the side anyway.

This is actually good as he should be mastering English. You are there to help in that process and bridge the gap do to say. There is nothing wrong with you and you should ignore anyone who says there is. In fact, whomever is saying this too you has a very skewed view of having success in America or any other country where Spanish is not the primary language.

There is nothing wrong with you for not wanting to learn the language. If you live somewhere where English is the main language, that is okay. I do encourage you learn though, if there is a language barrier. If he speaks English well, then you don't really need to and it's something you can do in your free time if you so wish.
