One or two bedroom appartement?

I got offered a house, i need one immediately but it has one room and a lot of old people living in the complex

I'm guessing you're living by yourself. I would take the 1 bedroom, but I do things differently. I turn the living room into a gym/bedroom and I turn the bedroom into my living room... wher the computer and giant TV goes, and the couch and bean bags... the chill spot.

With kids though the living room got turned into the kid's bedrooms and I shared the bedroom with the wife. My weightbench went where the dining room table would have been.

Now that I think about it... the weight bench has always taken over the dining area. When we had a table nobody even used it... they still want to eat around the TV.

Are you alone? One is enough. Is it you and a partner? One is enough. But there are plenty of other factors not mentioned.

I agree with most of the other commenters. If it's just you, one makes more sense unless you're thinking of possibly needing more space? Share the rent with a roommate? Office for studying or work? Then it would be ideal for you to have a two bedroom apartment.

So take it and keep looking, the immediate problem is solved. You can now spend more time finding what you really want and be a bit more picky.

If it's just you, one bedroom is enough. If you have a guest, you can sleep on teh sofa and let them have your room.
