I would say there is one thing that I always wanted to ask. How do they do it? By that, I mean how do they have so much patience. I love children, especially the little ones but a whole classroom full of them every day? That is a lot.

I have nothing but respect for teachers. They are amazing and sacrifice so much for the sake of others. That goes from those teaching the real little ones all the way through uni.

I think it is remarkable to go through life with the goal of bettering others through learning. Back to the patience, my goodness do they ever have to put up with a lot of different personalities and problems.

I used to babysit quite often when I was younger. Two you boys were a handful. I consider myself energetic and have tons of energy, but boy did they wear me out. I cannot imagine multiplying that by 10x or more and have to do it every day.

Good on all you that teach and make a career out of it. Amazing job to you all.

What are the reasons for focusing on memorization rather than creative thinking, problem solving and innovation?

Grades don't necessarily equate to performance in the real world, so what's with the focus on grades?

What can teachers do to help students believe in themselves rather than just focus on when they don't measure up?

How do teachers show students they are actually learning from their students?

What are the reasons teachers encourage kids to move upward rather than outward? In other words, skipping students to higher grades rather than giving them projects to help them master their present skill set. A pyramid will always be more stable than a pillar, even if the pillar rises higher.
