Native English speakers. Do you think some non-native speakers are retarded when they make some grammatical mistakes?

I make mistakes from time to time and I wonder if the person I'm talking to thinks I'm an idiot who can't even speak. Please be honest.

What is difficult about non-native speakers is their sheer frustration they have with not being understood by others while they are speaking. Even the 100,000-300,000 scientists or engineer, or whatever feel the same. If they make the effort then take a moment to ingratiate them with an attentive listen.

Lots of people on this site need to travel into other lands.

There might be a lot that say no - but many of them do. 😂

I usually end the conversation when that happens, since I've no desire to speak with someone who's intelligence is rooted within the English language.
