They correct you a lot when you mispronounce a food, place, greetings or whatever. Just in my experience, I know someone who's American in here who says some words with an American accent and people here keeps correcting him about the pronunciation. He's trying to adjust and he says them right but still busts out his American accent when he pronounce them and people still keep correcting him. I watch some vloggers as well traveling their country and I can also see similar people trying to correct them and even the comment section is full if it. Like what's the big deal? Anyone trying to speak English with their accent as the words pronounced wrong like 90% of the time yet no one corrects them.
Eurotrash put a great deal of effort into their entire lives trying to understand what Slim Shady is rapping about, because they think that this is the way all Americans speak. They dream of the day they can flood our borders and order McDonald's cheeseburgers and live in huge, overpriced houses that consume loads of fossil fuels. They get triggered because no one on Earth cares about their language and culture as much as they care about the release date of Eminem's new album.

It is normal when people mispronounce, whether intentional or unintentional, another name etc. Even if you are a good person and respected by community. Getting the language is right. I’m looking at it from Busines💰 point of view.
There's an advert being run on UK television now based around people mispronouncing hyundai cars. I think it's going to put a lot of people off buying them because no one likes their pronunciation corrected.
Maybe it's because I already see what you mean, so I won't correct you

When I was learning Swedish I never got the impression people were triggered by my mispronounciations or if I used a word wrong. I preferred it when people did correct me so I could get better. It feels more like constructive criticism. When it comes to foreigners mispronouncing English I guess you're right that we don't really repeat it back to them until they get the accent right, seems like a non issue. If I understand what someone is saying to me even if its broken English I just roll with it
Because English speakers are more tolerate and patient with non-English speakers
I had no idea this was a thing
