I really want to see Universal Studios, specifically the Super Nintendo World there but everyone i know don't want to go or its just too expensive for them to go so im thinking of going myself.
Would you ever go to a theme park yourself

I wouldn’t. To me doing big things like that by yourself is like asking someone if you can sit on the same public bench or table as them. Just doesn’t work, unless you’re into that and found a way to fall into denial so deep it’s almost impossible for you to recognize when you feel all alone. Like when you get amnesia and your stalker uses that to their advantage to tell you she’s your girlfriend.
No, but I've gone with people where we split up to get on the rides faster, they are always looking for single people to fill seats.
Nope. I would get so overwhelmed by all the noise and people, and without a support person by my side I would likely have a panic attack. Plus a little part of me fears being kidnapped since I am the height of a child haha.
As someone on the autistic spectrum, I can very much relate to this, though I don't think I've ever quite experienced a panic attack. I more just have a sort of meltdown or just withdraw into myself and give up.
I would, but I think it's a tad more fun with friends.
it certainly is but it seems all of my friends and family are either not interested or its just too much. so i may go myself

Despite having lived quite close to places like Sea World and Universal Orlando, I have never actually gone to an amusement/theme park alone. I think I probably would if I had no one with whom to go (which would more than likely be the case), but I'm not too sure. I'd be worried I would experience some kind of mental disturbance and forget where I am and how to get back home.
I would not just because I don’t do well in crowds.
true for me too so i would likely go on a Tuesday lol
😂 something about ditching work to do stuff on a Tuesday always makes sense.
I don’t do well on big crowds either
I probably wouldn't go by myself. I think it's so much better to at least have one friend go along with you to enjoy some of the rides.
Oh yes, and I would do so again! I can have fun alone, as well :)
I did it before and honestly making friends from bunch of strangers is more awesome!
actually sounds pretty good, no judgement for which rides etc.
And you can use the "single rider" lines that they use to fill in the gaps that remain after parties of multiple people are allocated as well as they can given the capacity of the ride vehicles, etc. Those lines can go pretty quickly at times.
@FatNeville i've never heard of that being a thing when i've been, at least not their own line. but sounds like a great idea!
@helpfulwoman, they are by no means ubiquitous, but they are certainly a thing. I've seen them mostly at Universal Orlando for rides like The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk Coaster.
Yes. I used to go to Disneyland solo a lot. I would try to find foreign tourists and play tour guide.
If I couldn't get anyone to go with me I'd go by myself. I've gone other places by myself because nobody was interested
no i won't
i have fun with my dad we go to them
Going alone might not be advisable at your age with the current state of the world. My mom said that she went to Disney or someplace with some friends when she was like in elementary school, but she wouldn't dream of doing something like that in today's environment.
No I wouldn’t
Cause what if someone’s drunk and trying to get you to sleep with them and stuff like that or spike your drink
Well im not sure alcohol is allowed in the park but i can understand why you wouldn't go for personal safety reasons
Yeah that’s why I wouldn’t go cause in the UK at funfairs there’s a lot of drunk people that go
oh fairs yeah lol lots of drunks at those. i just mean like actual theme parks.
Ah yeah I wouldn’t go to that on my own either 🫤 but I love theme parks
There is definitely alcohol allowed at many amusement parks. Ever hear of Busch Gardens? It and SeaWorld were owned by Anheuser-Busch for years, and they still sometimes give a free beer to guests over 21, especially annual pass holders. And places like Mythos Restaurant at Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando have extensive lists of cocktails, beers, and wine that they serve.

@FatNeville oh I never knew that
Having lived my whole life in Florida, and several years in the Orlando area, I have picked up a few bits of random knowledge about these types of things. Mythos was awarded the distinction of being the best theme park restaurant in the world for several years in the not-so-distant past, and my mom and I dined there on my last visit to Universal Orlando a couple years ago. It's the type of place that is a bit more upscale than many places to get chow at theme parks, with full table service, reservations able to be made, and suggestions for a wine to pair with most entrée choices.
@FatNeville ah ok I gotcha
Yes, I would still go.
E: Not interested.
Did it already
