What is more important: college degree or work experience?

A mixed program like Northeastern is best. Some university sends you out into real world in your study area as part of degree work. It’s not co-op but I can’t think of the official name. A few selective ones operate this way.
That being said, I’ve got plumbers, A/C, and electrician Vendors charging 100.00 plus hour. A/C-Heat 8000 unit….

Something to be said for 2 year degree program. One is starting Engineer course work at 24…going to university. He finished and official electrician at 19-20 years old and has small 1/1 he bought and don’t need student loans.

One can do both…

Some businesses will hire you as long as you have some degree. But then you will have to pay that degree.
If you can become an apprentice in a feed that you’re like. Then you are earning money while you are learning. Some blue collar jobs pay more than a college graduate will earn for years and without the loan payments!
Check out “College of the Ozark's”. You work for the college while earning your degree and graduate without owning any money!

Employers tend to care more about work experience than degrees. A degree tends to be a basic entry requirement. Work experience is how you actually get your foot in the door.
